SuperThings – Guardians of Kazoom – review and competition

SuperThings - Guardians of Kazoom - review and competition

I’ve shared these awesome little things before over on the gram – if you haven’t already heard about them then I expect you will as these are the hottest collectible on the playground.

Arlo was super excited to receive a selection of from the Super Guardians of Kaboom. The cartoon heroes and villains feature in the Magic Box Official YouTube series. Ideal for kids aged four and up these rubber figures come in a variety of pack sizes for little ones to open.

I’m not usually a fan of these kinds of toys with all of the unwrapping however all Super Things packaging is made from paper/cardboard which is easily recycled and actually makes it easier for Arlo to open.

We received a variety of different pack sizes – the starter set with a comic, three super things (including one crystal) and a metal Kazoom jet retails at £6 and I think this represents great value for money – the jets with wheels and additional motion features add play value to re-enact battles and create your own Kaboom style adventures at home.

The comic book is a great resource and also has a fabulous index guide to all of the collectibles in the range, Arlo liked having this as a reference to keep checking as he opened packs. The unboxing and opening experience takes a while too – check my instagram highlights to see his reaction!
There are pack sizes to suit all budgets, boxes which contain the “team leaders” or the “kazoom jets” with super things come in at around the £5 mark for pocket money purchases and then the larger pack sizes make ideal gifts and treats.

One thing I noticed is that the larger packs contain identified superthingsfrom the range alongside one or two mystery items. This for me as a parent is fabulous as it means we can attempt to complete the main collection without worrying about purchasing too many duplicates.
These can be purchased from toy shops such as the entertainer and are also available in supermarkets too.

The best thing is we have two of the COMING SOON (launch mid feb) SuperThings Superbots (one winner gets two) to give away – The Superbots: Kazoom Blast and Fury Storm each comes with an exclusive Kazoom Kid Character and an exclusive SuperThing!

Competition closes 20th Feb – T&C’s apply – check here for further info

    Coming soooooon!!
